Awarded to all armed services personnel for thirty years of service. Understandably, most awards are to very senioor officres or enlisted personnel.

Obverse: Circular copper-nickel, with the national emblem in the center, surrounded by the legend above "Dirgh Seva [Hindi] / LONG SERVICE" and, below, "Tis Varsh [Hindi] / 30 YEARS". Suspended by a non-swiveling straight-bar suspender. Usually named on the edge.

Reverse: A depiction of the joint armed services emblem of crossed swords, anchor, and eagle with a rising sun above.

Ribbon: 31 mm, orange, with a central strips of red, dark blue, light blue (each 3 mm). Orange 11 mm, red 3 mm, dark blue 3 mm, light blue 3 mm, orange 11 mm.
